Risk Strategies buys Texas business

Risk Strategies has purchased Advisor Brokerage Services (ABS), an insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firm based in Texas. The deal's details were not revealed.

ABS is Risk Strategies' first acquisition in Austin. ABS specializes in providing insurance to large financial organizations, hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices. Principal Charles Newman launched the firm in 2014.

ABS was designed to handle a wide range of accounts and risks. Client services, internal and external due diligence, and proposal consultation for portfolio firms and subsidiaries are among its strengths.
